Sponsorship of this digital badge collection will provide Junior Executive Management (JEM) Teams with the following STEM++ skills, capabilities & experiences within the Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security industry when they:

    1. Operations Project Badge ($20) – Explore the basic processes and principles of forensic science as it relates to criminal investigation (i.e.,  identification, collection, and processing of evidence)
    2. CTE Career Cluster II Program Badge ($10) – Explain the legal responsibilities and challenges the forensic investigator may encounter, the role of the criminal investigator, and the importance of preserving and documenting the crime scene and enabling the investigator to analyze evidence and its relationship to the crime.
    3. Mock Interview Task Badge ($30) – Conduct mock interviews and interrogations to demonstrate how statements are used as evidence in court
    4. Negotiations Task Badge ($30)– Explain how the success of a forensic scientist depends upon their ability to work with law enforcement officers and prosecutors in order to reach a successful completion to an investigation
    5. Law Skills Badge ($40) – Explain the difference between common and statutory law (i.e., how legal precedent is established, the rights of citizens guaranteed by the United States and Georgia constitutions, the powers granted to the police and safety officials, and the restrictions placed upon them by the respective constitutions and their amendments).
    6. Suppliers Project Badge ($20) – Discuss disaster preparedness/emergency management agencies, including but not limited to: Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Citizens Corps, and your state’s Emergency Management Agency.

Digital Badge Sponsorship Allocations:
30% – $45.00 Student stipend to “pay themselves”
40% – $60.00 Service-learning project fund donation to “reinvest in their business”
30% – $45.00 NEXT Steps donation to sustain program operations
