Module 2. The Strategist Mindset

MODULE 2

In this lesson, we introduce three key mindsets that determine how each person develops their own unique STEAM Investigative Process. Learning these strategies will help you understand the strategies you use to make decisions and teach you how to think bigger, maintain control, explore your options, and create multiple opportunities for yourself as well as your family, team, business, and community.

What You Will Learn

In this module, participants will:

• Learn about three different problem-solving approaches (mindsets) 
• Give you examples on how each mindset uses its own unique STEAM Investigative Process   
• Illustrate the framework behind “big picture thinking”

Course Activities

Through engaging discussions, practical exercises, and real-world examples, participants will emerge from this module equipped with the cognitive tools they need to excel as strategic thinkers.

NOTE: It is recommended that you complete this course BEFORE completing Module 3. The SIP Approach to Critical Thinking.
