The Herb & Farm Urban Agriculture
Program will help gardeners learn how
to maximize income from their produce
by creating several new distribution and
sales channels: mobile farm stands,
tailgate markets, on-site farm stands,
pick-your-own operation, etc. We will
develop detailed marketing strategies
to explore sales and charitable
opportunities to restaurants,
institutions, schools and grocery stores
to ensure diversity remains the
corner-stone of our stability.
COMMUNITY GARDENING
COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS
COMMUNITY SERVICE &
OUTREACH
The Herb & Farm Urban Agriculture Program will help foster
a grassroots activism among students and their families as
we create a local food market, regionally self-sufficient food
systems and S.T.E.M.-based sustainable practices.
The Herb & Farm Program will raise awareness of how the
life cycle of organically grown food can positively impact the
environment and improve economic development
opportunities within each community.
Herb & Farm cooking demonstrations will enhance
the urban agricultural experience and its connection
to the culinary and hospitality industries. Herb &
Farm will partner with chefs across the state that will
demonstrate how organically grown produce help
create high-quality dishes. Visitors will sample their
creations in our commercial kitchen or during our
on-site cooking demonstrations.
