In this discussion post, explain which five Future Ready Skill Cards you chose for your crowdfunding campaign and why they are important.Instructions:
Step 1. Introduce Your Crowdfunding Campaign (2-3 sentences).
Briefly describe your Bag of Chips product or project and explain the purpose of your crowdfunding campaign (e.g., funding production, marketing, community outreach, expansion, etc.).Example:
“For my crowdfunding campaign, I am raising funds to produce an organic sweet potato chip infused with honey from local beekeepers. The goal is to promote sustainable agriculture while providing a healthier snack option for kids. Funds will help with packaging, branding, and distribution to local schools and farmer’s markets.”Step 2. List & Explain Your Five Future Ready Skill Cards (3-5 sentences per card).
• Name each skill card you selected.
• Explain why each skill is important for your crowdfunding campaign.
• Describe how you would apply it to successfully raise funds.Example:
Marketing – I need this skill to create eye-catching campaign visuals and a compelling story that attracts backers. I will use social media and email marketing to promote my campaign and engage potential supporters.Step 3. Engage With Your Peers (2-3 sentences)
• End your post with a question or invitation for feedback to encourage discussion.
• Ask your peers for suggestions or opinions on your skill card choices.Example:
“Do you think these are the best skill cards for a crowdfunding campaign? Are there any others you would recommend?”Once you’ve reviewed your post, submit it to the discussion board and respond to at least two classmates’ posts with thoughtful feedback or suggestions.
