    The Scenario

At the beginning of this course, we asked you three essential questions:

    • Why are you here? Share your reasons for joining this program and what motivated you to enroll. Maybe you are you here to gain specific skills, explore career opportunities, or for another reason.
    • What do you need? Talk about the resources, support, or knowledge you feel you need the most and any particular skills you want to develop or areas where you feel you need extra help.
    • What can I offer you so that you get what you want? Let us know how we can best assist you and what kind of guidance, tools, or opportunities would help you achieve your goals in this program.

    “Hello!”

Create a short “Hello” video to record your responses to each question. Answering these questions will help you understand your intentions, define your goals, and clearly communicate the support you need.

    Steps to Create Your Video

    1. Think about your answers to each question. Write your answers in your post.
    2. Find a quiet, well-lit place to record your video to ensure good audio and visual quality.
    3. Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to record the video. Most devices have built-in cameras that are easy to use.
    4. Start the video by introducing yourself (e.g., “Hi, my name is [Your Name]”).
    5. Answer each of the three questions clearly and concisely.
    6. Keep your video around 2-3 minutes long.
    7. Once you have recorded your video, save it to your device.
    8. Upload your video to your social media network or a platform like Canva that provides a link to your video.
    9. Share your link in the discussion board.
    10. Confirm that your video is accessible and plays correctly, then mark the item as complete.
