  Skill Card Strategy by Achievement Domain

  Critical Thinking Activity
  Briefly describe your Bag of Chips product or project, then organize your selected Future Ready Skill Cards by achievement domain. State the total number of skills in each domain and explain which ones you chose and why. See example below

  Step 1: Introduce Your Bag of Chips Product or Project (2-3 sentences)
  • Describe your Bag of Chips concept.
  • Explain the purpose of your project (e.g., is it a product, a service, or an initiative?).

  Example:
  “My Bag of Chips project is a locally sourced sweet potato chip brand infused with natural honey and cinnamon. The goal is to promote sustainable farming while offering a healthy snack option for school vending machines and farmers’ markets. My crowdfunding campaign will help with product development, branding, and distribution.”

  Step 2: Organize Your Future Ready Skill Cards by Achievement Domain
  • List the achievement domains you used in your skill card selection.
  • State the total number of skills in each domain.
  • Specify which skills you chose from each domain and explain how they apply to your project.

  

  Example:
  Leadership, Teamwork & Problem Solving Achievement Domain(Total Skills: 3)
  Finance Director – I chose this skill because I need to organize my crowdfunding campaign timeline, manage tasks, and ensure I meet my funding goals.
  Family & Peer Network – This will help me connect with potential sponsors, industry mentors, and backers to support my campaign.

  Step 3: Reflect and Engage (2-3 sentences)
  • Summarize how these skills strengthen your crowdfunding campaign.
  • Ask your classmates for feedback on your choices.

  Example:
  “By strategically using these skills, I can create a successful crowdfunding campaign that attracts backers and sets up my project for long-term success. Do you think I have a good balance of skills across domains, or should I focus more on one area?”

  Once you’ve reviewed your post, submit it to the discussion board and respond to at least two classmates’ posts with feedback or suggestions.
