    The Scenario

Imagine there is a shortage of potato chips for your upcoming community event. Using the SIP Roadmap Worksheet, explain how you will build a solution using the five key steps of the STEAM Investigative Process (Research, Design, Plan, Coordinate & Evaluate).

Step 1: Use the SIP Roadmap Worksheet to document your approach.

Step 2: Write a detailed discussion post explaining each step you took to address the potato chip shortage.

Step 3: Reflect on the effectiveness of your solution and any lessons you learned from this process.

Step 4. Attach a pdf copy of your completed SIP Roadmap Worksheet. (See document attached)

    Tips

In your post, include answers to the following questions:

    1. Analyze how the concepts of “building,” “fixing,” “breaking,” and “maintaining” systems apply to decision-making in both personal and professional contexts. Provide specific examples to illustrate your points.
    2. Explain the role of the STEAM Investigative Process (SIP) Roadmap as a tool for problem-solving and solution development. How does each phase contribute to a comprehensive approach to tackling challenges?
    3. Reflect on the key learnings from Module 1 and discuss how they have enhanced your understanding of the impact of your decisions. How will these insights inform your future actions and choices?

Completing this exercise will help you practice your strategic thinking and planning skills, and improve your problem-solving skills. Be creative and thorough, and think clearly about how you already use each step of the SIP in your daily life.
