Teach learners how to:
- Complete the service goals of the Community Ecosystem skill card,
- Discover which socio-economic conditions are negatively impacting their communities, and
- Map local resources to address, reduce and/or eliminate them
After completing Lesson 1. Explore Your Community, learners will be able to:
- Demonstrate their ability to identify the socio-economic conditions that define the health of their community’s ecosystem
- Research and identify the organizations that address the socio-economic conditions within their community
- Use digital media to create a map of local resources within their community’s ecosystem and document how they will apply their STEAM skills to complete each achievement.
- Demonstrate how they were able to create and identify opportunities for growth, success & sustainability within their community
