Atwood @ DISC

Volunteers will help NEXT Steps complete the following tasks at the DeKalb International Student Center:
- Remodeling sanctuary and outdoor amphitheater
- Installing Atwood community garden and outdoor classrooms
- Creating multi-language signs and murals
- Painting stairs and parking lot

KaBOOM! Design Day

VOLUNTEERS from the North Druid Hills Corridor are invited to participate in KaBOOM! Design Day for the new playground coming to the Kittredge Park Nature Preserve.

Atwood @ Kittredge Park

Volunteers will help NEXT Steps and The Friends Of Kittredge Park complete the following tasks:
- Conserving the 36 acre nature preserve
- Creating outdoor learning and recreational activities
- Installing an Atwood community garden model, walking trails, and a KaBOOM! playground
- Removing invasive species

Grub Burger Bar Fundraiser

Come join Friends of Kittredge Park and Grub Burger Bar for a night of food and fun! The tasting menu includes a salad, 5 different gourmet burgers, wine/beer/drink pairings and a milk shake for desert. All proceeds will go to the playground fund for Kittredge Park.

AT&T STEM Expo

Open to all high school STEM++ Candidates ONLY! Please RSVP to attend AT&T's STEM Expo. (Limit: 30 students.)

Requirements
• Students must be a member of a CTSO organization, presently taking a CTAE/STEM course, or actively involved in a leadership training organization within Metro Atlanta's private, public, charter or home-based high school systems.
• Students must be in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. No exceptions!

KaBOOM! Playground Installation & Family Fun Zone

The NEXT Steps Youth Entrepreneur Program invites kids and their families within the North Druid Hills Corridor to help install a new KaBOOM! playground and community garden at the Kittredge Park Nature Preserve.

Family Fun Zone RSVP

Join in the fun and games! The KaBOOM! Family Fun Zone activities will include Kidzfit Zumba • Geocaching Scavenger Hunt • Track Races • Obstacle Course • Paper To Petal Parade (arts & crafts) • Soccer Workshop • Baseball workshop w/Decatur Night Hawks. Donations still being accepted!

Paper To Petal Parade | The Celebration Of Spring At Kittredge Park

The Paper To Petal Parade includes a beautiful parade of paper flowers, the Civic Vow Renewal & Pledge Ceremony, & Easter Egg Hunt to celebrate Spring in Kittredge Park. Visitors will be encouraged to explore the new amenities at Kittredge Park: the Atwood Community Garden Model, new walking trails and bridges, and the new KaBOOM! playground installation (scheduled for installation on April 28-29th)

Join members of the North Druid Hills Corridor to help create signature nature-based recreation, horticulture, therapeutic, ecotourism and STEM++ based education programs for Kittredge Park.

A Summer Of Impact. The S.T.U.D.I.O. Experience highlights all aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) required for a successful career within the Film, Music and Digital Media & Entertainment Industries. Our hands-on, interactive programming currently consists of foundations in Audio Technology, Video Technology, Digital Media, Creative Writing and Entrepreneurship. Facilitated by industry professionals, The S.T.U.D.I.O. Experience utilizes state of the art technology to introduce youth to Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Garage Band, and Adobe Photoshop.
